About the Project
Around two years ago, the IFS Schweinfurt, a language school in Germany, started this blogging project. Initially, it was just an experiment but since the feedback from both teachers and students was good, it shortly became an integral part of the first-year curriculum.
Main Goals
- revise recent grammar topics by explaining them
- broaden writing skills with personal topics
- design a blog
On my blog you are able to find explanations to the past and present tenses and conditional sentences. It also includes some quizzes so you can easily test your knowledge and get a rough overview on where you need more practice.
This part is more aimed at intermediate learners than absolute beginners since the instructions are already written in English.
For my personal section, I chose "Student Life" because I wanted to have the freedom to not only write about studying and learning itself, but also other topics like productivity and time management. Those aren't exclusively focused on school but might still be relevant to young adults like myself.
